Bing Of Fire

I wrote following text long long time ago, but it has never been published. Windows Phones are gone, but reading it can shade some light on reasons behind that fact:

“Recently my universe shifted. Completely and utterly. I manoeuvre myself into shiny, orange Windows 8.1 Nokia 630 phone and lost track of time and space. Can’t remember when was last time I was so productive. My every gesture is very precise with no seconds wasted. Can feel stream of thoughts rushing through my brain looking for possibility of recombination. Pretty much tunnel vision whole day long. And all of this without any distraction. Without any time spent on my phone. No phone time whatsoever. I can narrow my focus to laptop screen exclusively. Phone is so mediocre I don’t want to remember about it. Screen resolution - hard to believe. Have already disabled all background notifications. ‘Zombie’ mode boosted battery life to 4 days. After getting Critical Battery Level phone rides whole day before it dies. Try that Tesla! Definitely don’t want to touch it and routinely check mails. App store? Not existent. 3, t-h-r-e-e apps updates since I got it a week ago. Weather app makes my eyes bleed. Flat design in age of curved screens sounds like a terrible joke. Bing this, smart that, sense there. I hate it. I love it. Free at last, free at least.”

I still do have that headset! It’s very light and I use it when cycling/hill climbing.
